Dimraeth skill tree explained
Checked:
What is confirmed
Race and class define an archetype in the developer’s design explanation, with a skill tree shaped by both. Early Access launched with a skill-tree overhaul.
Race, class and archetype
The developer’s 16 November 2025 explanation describes an archetype as the combination of race and class. Each archetype has its own skill tree blending the race, class and archetype identity. This explains why the skill-tree question is broader than simply choosing a class.
What the original design put in the tree
That 2025 explanation describes archetype-specific spells and passives as the core of a build. It also connects the race/class combination to attribute XP costs and an archetype passive. These are related character-building systems; the article is not a complete list of current nodes, costs or unlock prerequisites.
What changed for Early Access
The 15 September 2026 launch announcement explicitly lists a Skill Tree Overhaul. It confirms the launch races as Elf, Minotaur and Human, and classes as Shadow, Mage and Brawler. Treat the older design article as structural background, not proof that its examples or numerical assumptions still match every current tree.
How to use the available information
Use race and class to understand the intended archetype, then check the tree and tooltips in your installed version before committing to a route. The character-creation guide covers initial choices; this page explains how those choices relate to skill trees. Neither source provides a verified current node-by-node allocation plan.
